Fenner #2

The Fenner #2 is part of the Well Done Foundation’s Five Bayous Project.  This orphaned oil well is located in Caddo Parish, near the town of Mooringsport, LA. The Five Bayous is a critical habitat area that is fed from Caddo Lake and has more than 100 orphaned wells. The Well Done Foundation is excited to be working on this important project. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to the Felty Family Challenge,  Tito’s Handmade Vodka and all who contributed to help plug this well.

WDF has created Blue Ribbon Climate Benefit Units™ (CBU Blues) to be sold to individuals and companies to offset their carbon footprints. The current offsets were created by the plugging of the Bluhm #007 (API#25-101-10074) orphan well, completed August 24, 2023, in Toole County, MT. 

  • Obtain CBU Blues in any quantity you like.
  • Receive a WDF registered certificate authenticating your donation.
  • Your donation helps support the funding to plug more orphan wells.
  • Receive special access to scientific data regarding your carbon offset.
